time: 9 April (9 a.m.) - 10 April 2010 (until 7-8 p.m.). You can arrive on the 8th after 3 p.m. and leave on the 11th of May
The cost of workshops is 100 GBP (British pounds), payable as a British cheque to Sarah Luczaj (50 punds as a reservation), the other 50 pounds is payable upon arrival. Most participants are Polish but I can speak fluent English and if foreiegners come the workshops are bilingual.
We do not refund the reservation, however for cancellations before 30th of March I can move you to another workshop if there is a place.
I reserve the right to cancel the workshops (so far this has happened once in 5 years - due to pneumonia...) - in this case I will refund the reservation but cannot refund other costs e.g. tickets.
We are going to cook wild Carpathian plants living in a traditional Carpathian wooden cabin. Accommodation very simple but warm and dry with electricity, wood burning stoves and one bathroom for over a dozen participants (you need to bring your own carry mat and sleeping bag). The house where I am planning the workshops (Rzepnik no 20a) is located next to and old orthodox church. Depending on the number of participants the place of workshops may be moved to another house (Pietrusza Wola, no. 50), a mile west from there, with identical standards.
For the workshops you need to take typical outdoor equipment (boots, raincoat, torch, matches, mug, knife). Although we are going to eat as much wild food as possible I advise you to take 1/2 kg of flour and/or seasoned meat plus extras ... eg tea or coffee. We try to make both purely wild dishes and some combinations of wild ingredients and flour, oil. My place is located 1.5 hrs from Rzeszów airport, which has Ryanair flights from/to London, Bristol, Liverpool and Birmingham, as well as Lufthansa flights from/to Frankfurt.
